Quality can't be rushed

Our custom-made sandals are meticulously crafted to fit your feet, a process that takes between 30 minutes to 2 hours depending on the model. Please note, due to Greek labor laws, we are unable to accommodate requests for sandals near closing time, as our dedicated artisans are not permitted to work extended hours.

The worldwide famous P. Melissinos Sandals are not sold by similarly named businesses neither in Greece, nor in any other country or over the internet. You can find his unique and bespoke sandals only in his iconic “MELISSINOS ART – THE POET SANDAL MAKER” atelier, near the Acropolis Museum and nowhere else!

At Melissinos Art- The Poet Sandal Maker we create leather bags, wallets, belts and other leather accessories for men and women, using high quality full-grain leathers tanned in the tanneries of Crete.
